Vodafone Ireland, a leading telecommunications provider, sought to modernise its legacy Bill Archive platform.

The Platform enables care agents to quickly access past invoices, statements, and payment histories to support regulatory compliance.

As the platform neared retirement, Vodafone required a secure and scalable solution to store and manage historical customer billing records. Partnering with SevTech, a specialising in Cloud solutions, Vodafone aimed to implement a future-ready archiving system leveraging AWS technology.

Solution

SevTech delivered a serverless, AWS-powered bill archiving solution. AWS S3 provided secure, cost-effective storage, while AWS Lambda automated data ingestion and retrieval. DynamoDB enabled fast metadata searches, and AWS Cognito ensured secure access management.

A custom web dashboard allowed quick retrieval of archived bills. A robust ETL migration strategy was implemented, ensuring seamless data transfer while maintaining integrity and minimising downtime.
