About the Role
We are looking for a skilled React Native Developer with strong experience in Next.js and Azure Cloud to join a cross-functional product team. The successful candidate will play a key role in building mobile-first experiences that scale across platforms in a modern DevOps environment.
Requirements
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain mobile apps using React Native (Expo) and TypeScript
Contribute to responsive web components using Next.js
Integrate with third-party APIs and services, including Stripe, Azure AD B2C, and GraphQL
Deploy applications to Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and Azure App Services
Collaborate closely with UI/UX, product, and backend teams in Agile sprints
Support CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions, Docker, and Azure DevOps
Write and maintain unit and integration tests using Jest
Tech Stack
Frontend: React Native (Expo), Next.js, React.js, TypeScript
DevOps: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Docker
Cloud: Azure App Services, Blob Storage, Azure B2C, Key Vault
APIs: GraphQL, REST, PostgreSQL
Testing: Jest, React Testing Library
Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Storybook, Figma
Required Experience
3+ years of experience in React Native mobile development
2+ years with Next.js or React.js in production environments
At least 2-4 past live app deployments.
Strong understanding of modern TypeScript and React Hooks
Familiarity with Azure Cloud deployments and infrastructure
Proven experience working in CI/CD environments
Ability to work onsite in Dublin 3 days per week
Located in or near Dublin.
Contract Details
Day Rate: Competitive, based on experience
Initial Term: 6 months with likely extension
